Daddy and his Mini Me

Everyone has always told me that Presley looks like her dad. I've always had a hard time seeing it. Well all I have to say is HOW BLIND AM I?! After I saw this picture my jaw dropped to the floor, I can finally see it! They look identical especially with their hair lines. I also didn't realize how bald she used to be! I guess when you see them everyday you don't really notice, but now that she's getting older and has more hair its really noticeable. She is still the most beautiful thing ever!!!

CarSeat of my Dreams!

Ummm I love this carseat! and it's Britax, I hear that's the best car seat around! It's a lil pricey like $230.00 pricey but Presley bday is coming up and I think we may have to break the bank a little. Or someone can always buy it for her for her birthday! lol

First Tooth is making an Appearence!

I tried to get a picture of it, but no luck with this wiggly baby! Presley is now 10.5 months and I can finally see a tooth trying to make it's way out. I'll keep you all posted when that little sucker finally breaks through! But before I do that, I have a few words for that little sucker who is responsible for our sleepless nights, crying fits, and lots of drooling! Until that day comes I will keep the freezer stocked with teething toys, and have the orajel(next best invention to coffee)in hands reach.

Motivation Fairy is here to STAY!

That's right, she's here to stay! I've lost all my baby weight and then some. It's been tough, but keeping up with good eating habits and working out has paid off! My nutrition classes and studying for my personal trainer certification has made it a lot easier for me to maintain a healthy lifestyle and to pass my knowledge and expierence to my loved ones! Cheers!!

Weaning from the boobie...

As most of you know I'm still breastfeeding Presley. My goal was to breastfed her for a year but I just realized that's two months from now! I don't know if I'm ready to stop that soon? I love breastfeeding and I think I'll miss it. This may sound strange to some of you, but it's my bonding time with her. Also at this age she doesn't really snuggle for than a couple of minutes and that's the only time she snuggles with me without wiggling around. I guess we will have to see...I'm thinking of self weaning, maybe? On another note, she eats great! I'm convinced that introducing her to textures early was a plus!

Presley's first Easter

It was so cute to see her so curious about brightly colored eggs. She is so easily amused, and for that I think I'm pretty lucky. She sat and watched her cousins hunt for eggs and was just being an Angel! Can't wait for next year when she can actually walk to get the eggs!

Am I prepared for this?!

She took two steps!! She stands on her own and is getting braver by the minute! I got to say, it's pretty emotional for me! My baby walking?! I don't think I'm ready for this BIG step. Literally. Now, I got to tighten my converse and get ready to start chasing miss pres around!
