1st Birthday

Dear Presley,
You turned 1 today! Me and daddy can't even believe it. You're walking, talking, and just so independent now. It's hard to believe that it's been one year since I gave birth to you. You are such an amazing little girl, with so much personality. You make everyone who's around you smile and laugh. I love the person your becoming and it's such a pleasure being your mom. Well now this is a new year and I know it's going to fly by fast, so I'm going to take every minute with you and enjoy it because next year your going to be 2! yikes! It's a bitter sweet feeling. Sweet that your growing healthy and beautifully but bitter because your not my little baby anymore. Well we love you! Can't wait to keep watching you grow. Love you my lil Boo!

The Pee Pee Fairy?

I think the Pee Pee fairy either came to visit me or it was Presley's way of waking me up this morning. As I laid on my bed comfortably with my little girl snuggled up against me all of a sudden I'm greeted by a really warm presences all over me. I looked over at Presley and she has this huge grin on her face. As I looked down I saw that she took her diaper off, and that's when I quickly realized that "warm presence" wasn't just a dream of me being in the hot tube (relaxing) but in fact that my daughter peed all over me this morning! I'd like to think she had no idea about what she's just done, but with that grin she had on her face earlier makes me question it. Don't worry Presley I'll get you back ;)

Memorial Day Weekend 09'

What a great weekend!!! Presley got to play in a baby pool with her cousin Ryder and her auntie Leigh added some warm water for the "princess" so that it wasn't to cold. Thanks Leigh that was so sweet of you! Here are a few pictures to share. Now next weekend is her 1st birthday!

Mommy Emotions

Presley's turning 1!!! I can't believe she is going to be 1 in a matter of a few days. Time does fly. She is walking, talking and is just an amazing, sweet, happy little girl. Wade and I are so blessed to have her. Makes me sad that my baby is going to be 1 though. I already miss the days were she would lay on my chest all day and I could carry her all around in the backpack and never put her down. I loved when she would just lay there and look at me, and now she hardly looks at me because she is busy running around exploring! ha. Or bath times when she would just lay there and I could bath her with a cloth and she sat still and smiled, now she playing and splashing around like a mad woman! She can make me laugh. I also remember the easy diaper changes when she would just lay there still while I wiped her little butt, now she rolls all over the place getting poop and pee everywhere while I race to get diapers on her! hahah little wormy butt. She going to be 1! That's insane. Why do I want to cry? I'm just so happy to have her and I'm not going to take any mommy times for granted. Even if she wants to sleep in my bed and cuddle with me...I'm going to take every little thing I can because one day she's probably going to slam a door in my face and want nothing to do with me.

Dog Lover!

Wade is still trying to convince me to get a puppy by showing me really cute pictures and even taking me to pet stores(in hopes of getting me to hold one). As I admire their sweet faces and puppy dog eyes, I picture a few things in my mind and that's mommy (me of course, who else?)picking up poop, waking up in the middle of the night to stop it from crying, taking it on walks, making sure doesn't eat Presley's toys and that's when those sweet puppy dog eyes come to a complete STOP!! This mommy already has a human puppy who cries, poops, and barks at me. We will get a puppy when Presley and Wade learn to value the responsibilities of picking up poo poo, etc. I'm such a mom.

Tummy Tub

I don't have one, but I read an article on it and saw it being advertised on good day LA. I wish I had one for Presley it would of made bath time a lot easier when she was so small. They sit upright so you don't have to worry about water getting into their ears and they say it's like being in a womb so they won't cry! Amazing. I highly recommend this to new mommy's! I will get one for my next baby!
