I have the blessing of being able to stay home with Presley through these very important years of her development. As parent's we know that being at home all day with your little one isn't always the easiest thing. Yes, we have the privilege of being in the comfort of our own home and we can stay in our pj's all day if we like but truth is, it can be hard. This has nothing to do with not loving to spend time with Presley, because I do. I wake up for her every morning and I breath for her. She's my life and I love her more than life itself. You do get to be at home and don't have to get up for work, but you still find yourself waking up at the same time if not earlier than the working spouse. Yes, if we wanted to say in our pj's all day we could but trust me it's not by choice. You would love the opportunity to shower first thing in the morning, let alone asking for the unthinkable blow drying your hair! There is also that famous line "well, you get to be at home and play all day." Oh, yes play, how sweet it can be to talk to a toddler who just screams at you. We play don't get me wrong, I love playing with her but when you're on the verge of the 7Th day without/barely any interaction with any adult conversation you start speaking "toddler." True story: I caught myself saying " I need to go potty" to Wade. He just stared at me and was like "you talking to me?" hahaha. Okay enough, hope you had a good few laughs. All us parents with children can relate:)
