Time does fly!

I took a picture today with Presley while she was playing "tea party" in her room with some very close animal friends. As I looked over the picture I couldn't believe how big she's getting. She really doesn't look like a baby anymore, she looks like a freaking kid now! I know to some of you may think that sounds silly, but people have always told me that when you have kids time goes by fast, and they grow up so fast that it's almost hard to imagine them as babies. As I looked at that picture, I felt that very thing that people said I was going to experience. I closed my eyes and tried to think back to what she looked like as a baby, and I couldn't really see a clear image. All I saw was dark black hair, chunky cheeks, tiny hands and feet, and of course the shape of her almond eyes. But I wanted to see every little wrinkle in her skin and remember her baby smell. I couldn't but thankfully I was very camera happy when she came into our lives that I took about at least over 1,000 pictures of her. I'm so happy to have those and remember how little she used to be.

Cutest Car Washer in Town!

My fist step to help is admitting my problem. Yes, I'm a absolute disorganized and messy person when it comes to my car :) I think that I worry so much about the house being clean, and pay so much attention to those very little details that when it comes to my car I just don't care. For some weird reason it just doesn't bother me. Anyway, my sisters boyfriend Jake saw how messy my car was and demanded that Presley and I came over to their house to have a enjoyable breakfast and he would clean and detail my car! I took that opportunity and ran with it, I was at the door step no later than 9:00am! haha. Jake made my car so clean again and it's so refreshing to be able to see the carpet again and to have clean leather seats. I can't give all the credit to Jake though, I mean Presley did do a lot of the work ( she is the mastermind on why my car gets so dirty!) ;) Honestly, if you had a cute little baby like Presley to help out with this, you would be cleaning cars all day!

Valentines Day 2010

Presley had her first sleepover this weekend! Maddie is a like a niece to me, and valentines day weekend she came to hang out with us:) The whole weekend was filled with activities, dress up, dance parties, and baking! Both girls had a wonderful time together and it made me realize even more how important it is for us to have a sibling for Presley (little peanut). Even though with siblings you fight, argue, and bug each other, you don't get lonely because you always have someone there to play with. I have two siblings and even though we had our descent amount of fights and yelling at each other they are people I can count on and I was never lonely because I knew they were always there :) So happy and excited to have little peanut here and watch both our children grow together!

Little Peanut Pictures

These are some new pictures of our second addition! I can't believe how small they start off to be and then how big they end up getting. Look at the size difference in just 4 weeks?! We can't wait to meet little peanut.

On another note I would just like to brag about my OBGYN (Baby doctor). Dr. Awesome is what I'm going to call her due to privacy reasons. Anyway Dr. Awesome is amazing! I had a so-so expierence with my first OBGYN as her and I really didn't connect. I know some of you may think "connect?" but if you haven't been pregnant you won't understand until you are. You want to connect with your doctor because you want them to know who you are and what you're about. I mean after all they are bringing your pride and joy into the world. I want our doctor to know who we are and I want them to wave "hi" when were in the waiting room, it shows that they remember us and that it's more personal. My last doctor with Presley....I will call her Dr. Too busy for me, always used to walk past us in the waiting room as if she's never seen us before. When we would go into her office to see her she would rarely make eye contact and always seemed rushed.

Dr. Awesome is completely different. At my last appointment she saw me sitting in the waiting room and she peaked out and said "hi toni!" It's something as small as that gesture to make me feel really comfortable with her. When I get to see her she is very sweet and always asks how I'm doing, feeling, if I have any questions or concerns. Most doctors ask those type of questions but they almost don't want you to answer because it will take up their time. Dr. Awesome really listens and takes her time answering and making sure we really understood everything. Another great thing about her is that when she does my ultra sounds, she gets as excited as I do when seeing the baby. I know that sounds silly but think about it...this woman sees so many of these ultra sounds a day and to show that type of interest in our baby makes me feel like she really does care and she has a passion for her job.

Day at the Zoo with Daddy

The "Ah-Has"...

Presley driving her "vroom-vrooms" around the zoo..

Wade and Presley try to get their "Father-Daughter Days." With Wade always working he knows the importance in spending time with his little girl. He tries to plan little trips with her (I'm not invited but that's okay! I get mommy time.) so that they are able to bond more. I think that what he's doing is great because she needs to have a strong connection with her dad. This trip they went to the zoo to see the animals of course but mainly for the gorillas & monkeys. Presley is fascinated with these beautiful creatures and shes even made a pet name for them. She calls them "Ah-Has." We think she came up with that because Wade is always trying to impersonate a monkeys sound by saying "ooo-ooo-aa--haaa" (while scratching the top of his head and arm pit haha) and she started to call them "Ah-Has!" So now when she sees any type of ape species anywhere she yells " Ah-Has!."
