They did it!
This is an update on Presley’s swim lessons. As most of you know she had a hard time the first few times in the pool. I'm sure it was a mix of being in a new environment like the pool, and having a really intimidating swim instructor. As my friend Katelyn and I continued to take our girls to these lessons we decided maybe it would be best to switch swim instructors and go at a later time. We realized there was a real problem when every time she would pull out her daughter’s bathing suit from the dresser she would automatically start crying and every time I pulled into the parking lot in the facility Presley would start screaming "no swim". What were we to do? Well we were "those" moms. All the difference came with one simple phone call asking to switch classes. Katelyn and I had no idea what to expect from this switch. We weren't sure if it would even make a difference and the fact that we didn't even know if this new swim instructor was going to be any different from the first. Anyway, we gave it a shot and to our surprise it made a world of a difference! Both our girls did so much better. The new swim instructor took a completely different approach with them and they instantly changed their vibe. To say the least now Katelyn and I can enjoy going to swim class with our girls and not feel guilty about torturing them anymore. Moral of the story is if our kid doesn't take to you quickly it's probably because you’re a big cage fighter with a bald head and have no boundaries when it comes to their sensitivities haha.

That's too funny! I am glad it all worked out for you. Sometimes it's well worth being one of "those" Moms :)
I am going to try and sign up Ashton too. Hopefully it goes well!
