Halloween 2010

This was a special Halloween for a couple of reason first being that it was Kinley first Halloween and second Wade and I started a tradition where one of us each year will dress as a character. This year it was my turn and I dressed up as Jessie. It was so cute to see Presley's reaction she had the biggest smile on her face and wouldn't let go of "Jessie". It got hot wearing that big head and layers of clothing but it was worth it! Kinley was a flower and had the costume on for about a whole 5 minutes until she got hot and demanded to be out of it. Presley was originally supposed to be snow white but seeing she wore that costume all week before Halloween she decided that Cinderella would be the best thing to wear that night. It was yet another fun and great time with family!

Irvine Park Pumpkin Patch

My sister invited us to go to the Irvine Pumpkin Patch with her. It was her birthday and she wanted to spend the day with her nieces. If you haven't been to that pumpkin patch I highly recommend it! There is so much to do and it's super kid friendly.

Slumber Bear

Best $30 I've ever spent on a darn stuffed animal! I'm not sure why it took so long for me to hear about this (Presley definitely could of used it!) but thanks to our friend Mandi who told us about it, we are now having interrupted naps and sleeping through the night! Mandi's son has a giraffe version of the slumber bear but if your wondering what I'm ranting about, it's a bear that has a little microphone thing inside and you can record your own voice for the baby to hear OR you can choose from different sounds like white noise, womb, heart beat and a lullaby's.

I got it mainly for Kinley, thinking Presley was to old to be fooled by the "womb" sound but to my surprise they both fell asleep to it for nap time! The best part is they both slept for 3 hours even when the neighborhood kids were playing right outside the window. I love this bear..this bear will be going everywhere I go.

Poopy update....

Presley is having "nice" colored poop....phewww...thank goodness :) All she needed was a little more protein and a little less dairy. Don't worry I won't post pics.

Poopy Adventures!

So recently I've been noticing that Presley's stool has been a bit off color. What I mean by that is, the color of her poop has been pale clay/white color. Anyway being me and wanting to find out if this is "normal" I went online and googled it. Well HOLY MAC & CHEESE!!!!! Never do that!!! It scared the crap out of me...(no pun intended). As we all know the Internet could be a very helpful thing when it comes to shopping, searching for stuff in particular like in my case pale poop. Well after the 100,000 results of my search I quickly had to shut off my screen back slowly away from my computer and call her pediatrician immediately! The things I was reading was way to overwhelming. I read that it could be due to something with cancer and all these serious health issues. Just as I was about to have nervous break down her pediatrician called me and told me that he believes that it's the lack of protein in her diet. In other words, he wants her to just eat meat for the next few days and cut back on the milk drinking. I asked him if he thought it could be more serious and he said "no, because she isn't experiencing any pain in the tummy." So for now I'm on poop watch for the next week to see if it starts to change color.

I know that being a parent is hard but the thought of something being seriously wrong with your kid is devastating and nerve wracking. So if you need to find me I'll probably be with my head in the toilet after Presley takes a poopy!
