New found Love
I'm loving my new Nikon camera! Of course my subjects are the cutest little models ever but it's nice to have a new hobby that makes me feel creative again.

Kinley 4 Months
I can't believe your 4 months already, it seems like yesterday that I was allowed to finally bring you home from the hospital. You are growing quickly, you're starting to grab for things that are in front of you. You love chewing on your little fingers too. The drooling is still a little intense and you have about 3 wardrobe changes a day (but that's okay because you have a lot of cute clothes that need a turn). Your laugh is actually a laugh now, it's so sweet and girly. You can sit up (with a little help) so well, and you can hold up your head great. You love watching your sister play and you laugh so hard whenever she kicks a ball around. Presley likes making you laugh. She also likes it when you wake up in the morning, she will often greet you by saying in a very loud tone "Baby easter awake!!!". You usually get startled at first, but the moment you see her face you give her the biggest smile. We love you "chee-chin" (thank your sister for that name when you get older because we're sticking with it). XOXO

Hockey sticks and Pucks
Wade took Presley to her first hockey game at age 2. He really wanted to spend some quality time with her since it's been a little crazy around here with a new baby. I love watching them have moments like these...to witness a father and daughters bond grow to something so special. I really didn't get to have that growing up, seeing that my mother played both mother and father roles in our home (but that's for some other time). Anyway, they went to the hockey game and sat three rows up from the ice!! Talk about great seats! Wade said they had a blast and that she did really good at sitting watching the game (nothing like some good kettle corn to keep her busy & still). Of course me being obsessed with pictures and documenting every little thing our girls do, I had him take the camera. I honestly thought the only picture I was going to get was of them leaving, maybe of her in the car seat passed out because lets be honest, most men aren't about carrying a camera around especially at a sporting event unless they're getting paid to do so, right? When he got home and showed me these FANTASTIC pictures I was so beside myself happy! I was so proud of him. Now, she will have these pictures with her forever and maybe one day even use them in a slide show when she gets married or something.
they have their "hockey" faces on....

Ready for game time

She's prepared and showing some team spirit! GO DUCKS! (too bad ducks weren't even playing, this is manipulation from here father who is a ducks fan...leave it to him to get her a ducks puck at a King game!)

Wade and Presley so close to the ice they can pretty much see the sweat on the players faces!

let's go ducks!!....oh wait, they're not even playing.

Beautiful ladies
Sisters....I adore them! Presley is adjusting to being a big sister really well. She is taking her "duty" very seriously. She's really gentle with Kinley and every morning she tells her "good morning little eastterrr (aka sister)." Presley loves sitting next to her and making her laugh. Though she is a fabulous big sister, Presley has her days when she feels like "fighting' for my attention. Last thing I would ever want her to feel is rejected, so having some quality time with just the two of us is a huge priority for me. Sometimes it's as simple as going to the store together while Kinley stays at home with Wade, but other times it's me putting Kinley down for a nap and letting Presley take hers later than usual (which usually means a later bedtime) but that's okay with me because I know how happy that makes her and these are times that she will remember. I love being able to talk to Presley and just hearing and seeing her personality come out. I can't wait until KK is able to join and play house, dolls, and soccer with us.
