Kinley 5 months

You are loving the rice cereal! You cry whenever your serving is done haha

Presley taking her "big sister" duties very seriously. She enjoys helping mommy feed you.

You started rice cereal today Kk. I remember starting rice cereal with your older sister and I just can't believe that I'm at this stage with you now. Next month you will be trying stage 1 foods and I can't wait to start my routine in making my own baby food again. You are trying to crawl so bad right now, but it looks like your swimming in place haha. You will be crawling in no time, this will make mommy proud but very sad at the same time. Your sitting is becoming much stronger but you still tend to tip over after a little (which by the way Presley thinks it's hilarious). Your really starting to look like your own little person and I just love it. Happy 5 month my love. Love you very much!

Christmas 2010

The good old holidays, they are exhausting but fun! It was so nice because this was Kinley's first Christmas and it was also Presley first visit (hopefully last) to the Urgent care. We had a little accident on the stairs at "mimi & papas" house. It was nap time and well Presley had an opinion of her own, which led to throwing herself into a full blown tantrum whiiiillleee I was holding Kinley in my arms. As she was throwing her self down and I was holding her by her hand (so she didn't fall down the stairs) she dislocated her elbow. So, between her dead weight and my pulling her arm to lift her up so she didn't fall, the outcome was "Nurse-Maid Elbow". Yes, it's so common that there is a name for it, and it's very common in 2-3 year old now imagine that?! geeee, I wonder why? Anyway, the doctor popped it back into place like a true master and that was the end of her pain. Presley went into the urgent care crying and in pain and walked out with a smile and trying to grab some candy (With the "hurt" arm) on her way out. You have to love 2 year old. It was so wonderful having everyone together this holiday and the girls got soooo much stuff. Which here is a mommy tip: I put some of the toys Presley got away in my closet and will bring them out on a rainy "in-house" day. If I gave them all to her at once, she would never appreciate each thing and also because my house at the moment already looks like a kid store I didn't want to add to the mess :)
