Sure being a parent is hard and especially if your doing your job right-it's really hard! Waking up all hours of the night with your infant, dealing with your toddlers new love for words like "NO!", Dealing with time-outs and tantrums, setting boundaries and rules, sticking to your initial word and not backing down, the dirty diapers, the constant mess, the constant laundry and dishes, the potty training..I think you get the point, right? I could go on and on with a list of things that makes being a parent hard.
But it's moments like these; that this so-called long list now seems shorter. All that hard work doesn't seem so hard anymore, moments like these aren't guaranteed forever and children grow up fast. I wouldn't have it any other way because if this is my reward, I would gladly take a snuggle or silly face smiles in exchange of all my hard work any day and in any life time.
