At exactly 2:06am my sweet baby was born. She was 7.3lbs and 18.5 inches long. I can't believe it was only a year ago that she was placed in the NICU just hours after being born because of a very severe case of jaundice that was an ABO incompatibility. Her levels were rising, and they were rising fast. Treatment was started immediately and she was being very closely watched by her doctor and nurses. I will always remember those days and weeks in my life. These memories are still so fresh in my mind because we could have lost her. I have never been so scared and unsure. I thank God all the time for blessing us with the Neonatologist and nurses that took care of Kinley. If it wasn't for them, she wouldn't be here today celebrating her first birthday. She has been growing so beautifully and has been the perfect completion of our family. Happy birthday baby. We are so happy to be celebrating this year with you :) Many more to come! xoxo
