I hope she forgives me.......
As most of you know, Wade and I co-slept with Presley. Yes, you read that right "slept" it's in past terms. Right now were doing the "cry it out" method and let me tell you it's so hard and what I mean by hard it's emotionally hard for me. I hate to hear her cry. I just want to be there to comfort her and hold her and make her tears go away, but I know that we need to do this because none of us are getting the sleep we need. I'm sorry but 3 people on a queen doesn't work! Especially now that she's getting bigger and moves like a mad woman in bed. Some nights I find myself by Wades feet. This is the first week of this business, and let me tell you I hope it gets better soon! There has been so many times where I wanted to go in there and just hold her. I'm being strong. I keep telling myself this is good for all of us! She needs a good night sleep in her own bed and so do mommy and daddy. If we all get good rest then we're all happy in the morning:)I'll keep u updated. We been going at this for exactly a week now so we will see how much longer.

Just Some Thoughts....

I have the blessing of being able to stay home with Presley through these very important years of her development. As parent's we know that being at home all day with your little one isn't always the easiest thing. Yes, we have the privilege of being in the comfort of our own home and we can stay in our pj's all day if we like but truth is, it can be hard. This has nothing to do with not loving to spend time with Presley, because I do. I wake up for her every morning and I breath for her. She's my life and I love her more than life itself. You do get to be at home and don't have to get up for work, but you still find yourself waking up at the same time if not earlier than the working spouse. Yes, if we wanted to say in our pj's all day we could but trust me it's not by choice. You would love the opportunity to shower first thing in the morning, let alone asking for the unthinkable blow drying your hair! There is also that famous line "well, you get to be at home and play all day." Oh, yes play, how sweet it can be to talk to a toddler who just screams at you. We play don't get me wrong, I love playing with her but when you're on the verge of the 7Th day without/barely any interaction with any adult conversation you start speaking "toddler." True story: I caught myself saying " I need to go potty" to Wade. He just stared at me and was like "you talking to me?" hahaha. Okay enough, hope you had a good few laughs. All us parents with children can relate:)

Daddy gets a Gold Star!
Wade gets home from a long 12 hour day at work. He comes through the door and gives out his kisses and hugs to his girls of course. Then he grabs Presley puts her in the bath and gets her ready for bed while I made dinner (didn't even have to ask). Then he lays her down to bed (didn't even have to ask!) and comes into the kitchen and starts conversation with me (Didn't even have to ask! haha). While he's talking to me he's putting dishes away! ( Almost died) and as we continue to talk, I'm getting distracted because I'm trying to pinch myself to see if I'm sleeping. Then, once he was finished with that he puts a load in the washer! ( I think I fainted!) I stood there waiting for him to ask for something, right? Why else would he be doing all this if I didn't ask?! I'm like thinking to myself hmmm...what does he want? lol. He doesn't say anything and looks at me and says babe you're looking really good! I'm like oh hell, is he doing thing to get a little something?! NO he wasn't! omg he totally did everything out of the goodness of his heart! We sat and watched a movie, ate dinner, and he went to bed. GOOD MAN! Thanks Tena and AL for raising one hell of a man!

Book Must Have!

To all you mamas out there, I highly recommend this book! It's an easy read, and the stories in it are hilarious. That's just the start of it, their is so much information to help you with your new toddler and children who already going through preschool. There is also a baby 411 from the same author, so you new mommies or upcoming mommies I highly recommend you buy it because your going to have a lot of questions you need answered. They relate to you by the stories they tell and they also have real questions from real mothers that are answered. You can even email them your questions and they email you back! I mean how much more can you ask for? Well I guess you could ask her to come to your house, but this is the next best thing to that. If you don't get it, you're going to wish you had! Thanks to my mother in law who bought it for me! She wants her grand kids well behaved hahah ;)

"Baby"
Hey baby,
Today I watched you for hours, I was so amused by your development and how your personality is starting to piece together. It's so fascinating. Sometimes I wonder who you get certain things from. It's funny because when daddy gets home from work now you get the biggest smile on your face! He loves it! Then he will get out of his work clothes and sit down on the couch and grab you to sit with him. This is where it gets really good, the moment he sits you with him you start to pick on him. It's hilarious. You will poke him repeatedly and then he will purposely ignore you, that's when you grab his face and make him look at you. We laugh so much. Of course we laugh silently looking at each other because we don't want to laugh out loud and agree with what your doing but it's so funny! Another thing you started doing was putting your "baby" in the stroller and pushing her around. There are times when you will grab your "baby" hug it and within seconds chuck it across the room and laugh. You're an amazing little girl and way ahead of your time! You're just a smart little cookie! Love you!

Summer Time Fun!
Hey Presley baby,
You loved going into the pool, well for like 2 seconds. You look so cute in your little sea monster floaty! Don't you think that polka dot bathing suit is just so cute?! I love it and I love watching you walk around in it. You're so cute I can't even stand it! Funny story that happened that day, you and I were walking around the pool and you love to wave to people and melt their hearts with that gorgeous smile of yours. Well you decided to pick out this older couple and wave to them and smile at them the whole time. They were loving it and you totally knew it too! While we were leaving, you would (no matter how far we walked away) you kept turning back and waving to them. It was the cutest thing. You're such a sweet heart. You definitely made their day. Love you boo.
