Day at the Park

Easter 2011

The weather could of used a little work but other than that we had a wonderful easter! Presley got to dye easter eggs for her first time this year and it was the year where she actually understood the concept of the "easter bunny" and "egg hunting." Kinley enjoyed being around everyone and eating her baby puffs ;).

Bubble Bath fun

I thought just having one in the bath was work-now there's two! Which calls for double the work but double the fun (I admit that sounded cheesy-oh well it's my life now). Kinley is now sturdy enough to sit all by herself (never unattended) in the bath. Every night we have a "bed time routine" with the girls which includes a bath every night. We actually started it with Presley when she was little and Kinley was just thrown into the mix when she was born. They both love baths, especially when we fill it up with bubbles!! My favorite part is when they get out and I put their baby night time lotion that smells of lavender on them. I can just sit there and smell them all night if I could! Although, I must admit Kinley last few days has been protesting the bath but if I remember correctly Presley went through a similar phase then quickly got over it. Hopefully it ends soon :)

Kinley 8 month

You are officially crawling on all fours AND you're pulling yourself up on the furniture to stand! I remember when Presley met each mile stone when she was a baby like you, but it seems like with you all of these BIG milestones are happening so quickly. You are eating a variety of food now which means that sometimes you are able to eat what we are eating for dinner. I just take whatever I make and blend it up in a food processor so we can all enjoy the same meal together!
As you get older and more mobile you are becoming more indepent. I love watching your personality come out. Watching you explore all the things around you is so cute because your so interested in everything! I also think you're a big daddys girl! Everytime he walks throught he door you stop doing whatever your doing and crawl right to him. He loves it! You are sweet and give kisses, and dance when you hear music. Your dad and I have noticed that you are a lot like him where you sit back and observe the people around you before you even think of socializing. You crawl around your sister and watch her play...she can make you laugh all the time!
On another cool note, you are now starting to like being in the stroller and car seat! whoo-hoo! It only took 8 months! hahaha but that's okay because I've enjoyed holding you and cuddling you. You will grow up fast so I'll take the time I have to hold and cuddle you when I can! Love you bubba-eech!
